We sold our cots in a garage sale, however the clever ideas below really make me wish I kept onto them. My favourite would have to be the table with storage, very creative.

Wow some people are so creative but the best way to repurpose a cot is to have another baby 😉
I love the table with storage and the craft storage, plus the childrens desk 🙂
Oh how I’d love to be creative!! Great ideas
I really like the craft one, a grest idea, could always go to op shop to buy an old. These ideas are great.
Fantastic ideas.
Oh wow! How wonderful, so many ways to reuse a cot! Yay, I can’t wait til our youngest is out of it now! hehe
We r going to pick up a cot from the side of the road today that i spotted yesterday turning it into desk for my sons. Can’t wait.
I have just used my cot as a craft storage on the wall. I love it!!!!
Just sell it when u have finished using it!! Turn it into cash!!
How cool do they look my son could be out of his cot soon and I don’t really want to get rid of it as it is a beautiful boori one could be converted into a day bed.
i dont need any ideas need another cot tho hahahaha
Just in time ……. Cot was going to the tip today, not now 🙂 just have to decide which one i want to make
Fantastic idea 🙂 Is there any ideas for change tables
oh i wish i had kept our cot now!
I’ll find some for you Erin 🙂
I don’t like that scroll bar thing that moves to the middle of the page all the time very annoying and I would close it and it would come back 🙁
Thanks TOHW, that would be great. I have a solid timber change table from Australian wood.
I am going to reuse my change table as shelves for my girls’ bedroom …. that way they can use the top part to change their ‘babies’. Plus it is on lockable wheels so it is easy to move to vacuum.
My cot is going to go to my mum’s place so she has a bed/cot for little grandkids to sleep in!
Some very clever ideas.
fantastic recycling ideas. Now all I have 2 do is choose what idea I am going to use:)
oh I love love.. got rid of one cot but still have the other.. might see if I can get inspired to do something with it!
Thankyou for featuring our kids craft desk in your round up! 🙂
Erin – I saw a great idea for repurposing a change table into a children’s tool bench on Pinterest the other day (didn’t save a link sorry!), they had shortened the legs to lower the table top and backed it with pegboard to hang the tools from.
Im with you Bec. Im using my iphone on fb. Its annoying when ur trying to scroll in the page but directed to another page. Oh well i should use my laptop to see it properly.
Great Ideas, put together well and finished with great taste! I love your site!

I didn’t repurpose our cots, but the lovely timber changetable has been a brilliant Island bench in the kitchen with shelves underneath to keep the everyday crockery, glasses etc close at hand for 4 years now!Just put a new top on !
ooh the crib end chalk boards are cool! Pity our cot is still in use!
oh that is gorgeous. Never ever thought of doing that! I so wished we still had our babies cot 🙂
Cheers
Lisa
I found your blog via Pinterest – tonight is my little girl's first night in her 'big girl's bed'. I'm absolutely going to have a crack at the storage table – I need something like it for the kids play room 🙂
Thank you this is awesome, was just about to get rid of my kids cot..
You might like to give your cot to a family in need. If you live in Melbourne St Kilda Mums http://www.stkildamums.org work together to collect and sort donations of baby and preschool children’s clothing, toys, books and essential nursery equipment.
These items are then re-distributed by Maternal and Child Health Nurses and Family Case Workers from dozens of welfare agencies to families across the city of Melbourne, Australia.
They believe that by reusing and recycling much loved babies and children’s gear, they not only share the joy of motherhood with each other, but save the earth’s precious resources too.
Great ideas!
Like the table. Place a board on it and use for trains, blocks etc. That way they never have to be put away and no one will tread on them.
My Hubby repurposed our change table buy removing the fancy bits and keeping the top and second shelf to put inside our sons wardrobe for shoes and puzzles.
I changed a baby changed table into an awesome drinks table.
Im trying to put a pic up to show you all, but it might not be working like i hoped
Not the cot, but I have plans for our changetable to become a kitchen trolley once we stop using it. I love the table above – how cool.
I love this post!! I am definitely going to have to share this one x

We used ours as a dog bed because we had elderly dogs and this was just the right height for them after adjusting. We cut off the legs and took off one side and left the mattress on it and then put their dog beds on top.
Hi we were given a old cot but ended up getting a new one,we made the old one into child gates works a treat and also we had a metal gate but my little one got her leg stuck no such problem with the cot one!You wouldn’t even know it had been a cot
Brilliant ideas ladies. I love your smart thinking. just wish i seen this last week.lol. I just put my old cot on verge collection. wot a pitty. lol
I wish we had ours too
i know what i will be doing with ours now…how have i never heard of you…
Hi Katrina, these are such clever ideas!
My son is still in his cot but as soon as he s out, I planned on taking the side off & solving my horrible habit of dumping the clean clothes on our bedroom floor & leaving them there. Turning the cot into a table to sort the washing with some baskets etc & thanks to this I now know what to do with that side I was taking off – towel rack inspired by quilt rack
