My kids have always enjoyed giving their friends gifts for their birthdays, Christmas and at Easter. We usually give a little bag of easter eggs, which we add a little printable topper to. It’s a sweet an inexpensive gift which the kids really enjoy putting together and more, they find joy giving to their friends, a characteristic I love seeing in them.
Over the years I have created a cute and colourful range of printable easter bag toppers. They are available as an instant download from my shop here, with a range of different shapes and designs. Purchase the file once and print as many labels as you need.
How to use Easter Bag Toppers
You will need:
- Small plastic party bags, these can be found in selected supermarkets in the party section or at the discount stores
- Bag Toppers
- Easter Eggs, Chocolates, Marshmallows etc
I use a paper trimmer which I purchased from a craft show years ago, but you can also get them from spotlight and places like Officeworks. Or simply use scissors. Trim around all the edges and then one slice in between each topper.
Fill plastic pockets up with easter eggs, I don’t do too many as I find the kids usually eat them all at school. Fold the label in half then staple to plastic bag. This is really a great inexpensive gift idea.
