Easter popcorn is a really quick and easy easter gift idea that you can make with the kids.
This popcorn is so delicious! It makes a delicious treat for teachers, neighbours, the kids friends or your work colleagues. I’m not the biggest popcorn fan, but this Chocolate Coated Easter Popcorn is absolutely DELICIOUS!!
Only a few simple ingredients – popcorn, white chocolate melts, mini marshmallows, easter M&M’s and sprinkles. I have used pre-popped popcorn, you can make your own at home if you wish. I only used half a bag of white chocolate buttons, this was enough to lightly coat the popcorn, it would be too sickly sweet otherwise.
I melted the buttons in the microwave following the packet directions, pouring over the popcorn to evenly coat.
Then pour popcorn and chocolate mixture over a lined baking tray. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows and 100’s and 1000’s once the popcorn was laid out flat. You don’t have to use 100s and 1000’s I used the coloured sprinkles another time I made them, shown below.
Really this could be a lovely gift/snack for any time of year, but to make it an easter treat I added some Easter M&M eggs. Then place in the fridge to allow chocolate to set.
We’ve made this Easter Popcorn for the kids friends, teachers and sport coaches to give them as little gifts. Bunny Bait toppers available in my shop here, as an instant download so you can start making them straight away. But… we snacked on some while packing the gift bags, we enjoyed the bunny bait that much that we are definitely going to make some for the Easter long weekend.
