Christmas Sequin Bauble

by Katrina - The Organised Housewife

A few years ago my hubby’s Aunty sent each of the kids a gorgeous handmade sequin bauble.  Over the weekend my little girls decided to make their own sequin bauble as it was such a beautiful handmade craft idea.

All you need is a bag of sequins, a foam ball, shirt pins, beads, bead wire and a hot glue gun

Please note, I originally used sequin pins, but found the head of the pins were too small for the sequins I purchased.  Make sure the heads of the pins are bigger than the sequin holes otherwise the sequins will fall off

View this video of my daughters Miss 8 and 10 sharing a tutorial on how to make this Christmas Sequin Bauble.

Pin sequin to foam ball, overlapping the sequins to hide the foam

Make a pretty bead hanger by threading beads onto bead wire, creating a loop at the top so it will easily hang on the tree. Hot glue the bottom bead onto the bauble.

This took the girls half an hour, and not much fuss at all!
