The i’m bored jar

All parents get it……. ‘Mum, I’m bored’.  I remember the days when I was a kid, TV wasn’t allowed on, electronics like iPads, xBox and Playstation didn’t exist.  I spent a lot of my time outdoors with neighbours.

Try creating a jar filled with activities.  Write these activities onto notes for the kids to randomly pick out through the day.  Activities like playing a board game, baking and craft.  You can be really cheeky and throw a few chores as well!

A fun way to stop the school holiday’s “I’m bored, there’s nothing to do” talk.
