I absolutely love doing my girls hair for school and I worry about the day they will walk out with their hair already in a plait and they don’t need me to pretty it up. Yes, I know I need to allow them that independence and I am sure that at nearly 10 and 12 they are perfectly capable of doing it themselves . But while I can I will happily still style their hair for school.
My girls always wake with knots in their hair each morning, so to make brushing easier I give their hair a spritz of my home made hair detangler, which is super simple to make and only two ingredients. You will save yourself so much money using this recipe rather than the store variety.

I have used a spray bottle that I purchased for only a few dollars from a shop that sells hair products like Hairhouse Warehouse.
You could also add a few drops of tea tree oil around nit season.
