My definition of purge – sell, donate, repurpose or throw away items as you see fit
Extra Supplies
Do you have a cupboard or area that you keep all extra supplies? I keep all extra toilet paper, tissues, paper towel on a shelf in the garage. It’s my stock pile shelf where I also keep extra laundry detergent, cereals, bathroom soap etc. I usually purchase two or three of an item we use when I see it on special.
Todays task is to:
Sort through your extra supplies and take note of the excess items you have stocked up on. Make note not to purchase any more until you have used up the amount you have. Use this time as well to write a list of items you need to replenish.

I have managed to sort through the ‘junk’ cupboard and get rid of a lot of rubbish we didn’t use or want any longer. I have a stock room to keep all of my extra items. It’s meant to be a study but none of us would want to sit in a room alone so we turned it into a stock room with 2 shelving units. I stock up on toiletries and toilet paper when I can. Its got even more in it since we’ve had christmas as we’ve had a few gift sets! X
I Decluttered the medicines yesterday, threw out four thermometers that were not working, and a pile of tabs and bottles that hadn’t been used. Did the sheets cupboard the other day, threw out about twenty sheets for beds I no longer have.
My mother in law passed away recently, cleaning her pantry was an eye-opener. She had about 17 bottles of dishwashing detergent, 12 bottles of hand wash, over 60 cakes of soap and about 50 rolls of toilet paper. Made a funny moment at a sad time.
Please don’t throw away sheets or bedding you no longer need…. The RSPCA and animal shelters are always in need of clean bedding – so please donate !!
