We found this fabric last year at Spotlight, a DIY Christmas Bunting fabric sheet. I have found in previous years this has sold out very quickly, so when I saw it, I grab a length straight away.
I then used pinking shears to cut around each triangle. This saved me time, rather than sewing a seam around each.
I pinned each triangle next to each other on a length of strong twill. My little Miss 8 ran the sewing machine in a straight line from the first triangle to the last. We left about 30cm space between the edge of the twill and the first and last triangle.
I’m really happy with how the bunting turned out, and matching our traditional colours on our Christmas Tree.
