Thanks so much for including me in your round up of beautiful spaces. I really like some of those ribbon ideas – I totally need a pretty ribbon detangle solution 🙂
Thank you for the wonderful inspiration Linda 😉
I miss having my own craft room. Maybe I will again one day. In the meantime it’s a foldup sewing table and a 2×2 Expedit on opposite sides of the family room. Thanks for the inspiration.
I had a fold away tressl table for years. One day, you will Kaz!!
We never intended on having a craft room in the house, but we converted what is meant to be a formal dining room into half man cave and half craft room. I find I’m more inclined to do crafts when there is a space already to go. Hope you find something her to inspire you to create a room one day 🙂
I would like that mix, I find I prefer crocheting to other crafts because I can sit on the couch and watch a movie with the hubby while I’m crocheting. My sewing machine/craft desk is tucked ‘far away’ in the laundry room.
I used to cross stitch Olivia, I agree it’s relaxing doing it while watching TV, crafts like that doing really need a dedicated space. It wasn’t until I started scrapbooking that I realised I needed a permanent desk.
Mine is in the laundry room too.
I don’t have a craft room but would love to do my study like the top one, though I would need a bigger desk LOL
I love the top one too, it is gorgeous! Your right, it would be perfect as a study desk.
I would love a dedicated space for craft, even just for my laptop. My craft and office space is my dining table. Our house is way too small for anything. All my craft stuff is sadly packed away in my bedroom cupboard. One day! I keep telling myself. One day!
Ooh one day i hope you get your desired craft space Molly!
I was wondering if you have any storage ideas for a scrapbooking/card maker with no craft room and no office. I have a computer table in the lounge room and a dining table and this is where I isuallly spread out. My supplies are are a box in my bedroom cupboard and it gets so messy. Any ideas would be appreciated!!
I love some of these ideas! I have just finished painting and moving furniture and supplies back in there but its a bit of a mess and i have lost my motivation. i dont know what i want to do for storage baskets Ect. Thanks for sharing this for ideas and hopefully i can get it back under control in the 20 day challenge coming up 🙂
Organized is not spelled correctly.
Organised is spelt correctly – in Australia we dont use the ‘z’ spelling, we use ‘s’.
Organized is not spelled correctly.
In Australia, we spell some words differently to our American counterparts. Organising is one of those words.
thank you Karen 🙂
I wish I had the money to achieve some of these solutions! My craft room has become a spare room with a sofa bed, the office/study and a place to store golf clubs! Hopefully I can restore some semblance of order using some budget versions of these great ideas 🙂
Great rooms! I have a dedicated space and I love it. It’s not fancy but I can just sit down and work and I am thankful. In fact, I think I’ll make a cute scrapbook banner to hang up this afternoon, nice and cheery.
