A mop is one of the most basic cleaning tools that we use to remove dirt and grime from our hard floors. For non-removable mop heads, simply soak them in hot water and 1 cup of vinegar for 10 minutes. Afterwards, give it a good wring and let it dry under the sun’s rays.
If your mop head is machine washable, throw it in with your other dirty cleaning cloths, adding 1 cup vinegar and your regular laundry detergent. Wash as usual and dry in the sunshine letting the sunlight work its magic while drying – an effective natural way to eliminate bacteria.

You can use water, vinegar, and baking soda to soak the mop head for a few hours or overnight. After deep cleaning, always rinse the mop head thoroughly and let it dry completely before using it again.
