How to make Fresh Carpet Sprinkle

by Katrina - The Organised Housewife

Freshen your carpets and remove smells quickly and easily with this DIY Fresh Carpet Sprinkle.

Keeping carpets clean and fresh can be a challenge, especially if you have kids and pets! A quick and easy way to deodorise your carpets and freshen them up is with my Fresh Carpet Sprinkle. This is so cheap and easy to make and keep in the cupboard for whenever you need it.

I put my bicarb soda in a stainless steel shaker which is commonly used for sprinkling icing sugar over cakes. This lightly dusts over the carpet with no big clumps.

VERY IMPORTANT: Clean your vacuum after vacuuming bicarb soda to help keep your vacuum in good working order.
