The words Spring Cleaning can be daunting. I don’t agree with the term ‘spring cleaning’ as I believe your house needs to have a really good clean at least 2 times a year, and if you have time seasonally is perfect. Understandable, looking after kids and working makes it hard to find the time. Over the next few day’s I would like to help those struggling and find it overwhelming to start this cleaning process.
Take it one day at a time, or one day per week at a time, but let’s get you started.

Thanks 🙂
Thanks for this!!! I started last week pulling every thing out in the lounge room and dusting, sweeping, mopping and organising! Have done the linen cupboards one morning before work. Never ending job!
spring cleaning came about because after Winter all the soot from the fire places was on the walls and ceiling and drapery, hence you ‘spring cleaned’ to wipe all the walls etc. But yes I do agree Spring and Autumn a good time to have a major cleaning done…
I wish I was!
We’re doing it this weekend. I’m not really feeling in the mood for it right now but hopefully I will be by Saturday 🙂
Love this motivation Kat …our house is pretty clean sans the windows because of being up for sale.
I’m escaping Spring cleaning in a caravan.
i have been doing 2 rooms a day.. and am really looking forward to seeing the house sparkle when i am done.. pity it doesn’t take my boys too long to dirty the bathroom

I love that saying “Do Something Your Future Self Will Thank You For”!
I know these were posted a long time ago, however, these were EXACTLY what I needed in life now. I started following you a few weeks ago and love everything I have come across to date.
This has a special meaning to me here and now.
Thank you for all of your tips. I hope I can keep up!
I love these quotes too, I really do feel that they help motivate and I’m so glad that you were about to find some meaning in them too.
