Fuss-Free Cleaning With The Strucket

The Strucket is the ultimate cleaning companion that allows you to soak, separate and drain – it’s literally the only bucket you’ll ever need!

If a bucket and a strainer had a baby, the remarkable offspring would look something like the Strucket. It has literally become my go-to for most cleaning chores – whether they be in the laundry, kitchen or around the home. It’s super easy to use, and makes sticking my hands in dirty water a thing of the past.

The Strucket is like a normal bucket… but better! It’s Australian designed and made (which I love!) and comes in four fabulous colours (aqua is the most popular colour).

How Does The Strucket Work?

The design of the Strucket makes it incredibly easy to soak, separate and drain without needing to cart around heavy buckets or submerge your hands in dirty water. Whilst it looks like a normal bucket from the outside, it’s the clever inner strainer and the outer plug that makes soaking simple and stress-free.

soak seperate and drain with the strucket

INNER STRAINER: After your clothes, vegetables, kid’s toys (you can see that the options are endless) have soaked, you can easily lift the strainer out of the bucket and allow the contents to be drained of the dirty water they were soaking. This makes it lighter to lift, and prevents you from ever needing to ever put your hands in the icky water.

OUTER PLUG: But what about the dirty water left in the bucket? This is where the clever retractable spout at the bottom of the bucket comes into play. Simply pop out this outer plug and drain the dirty water without ever needing to lay a hand in the water or attempt to tip a heavy bucket of water down the drain. This plug then pops back into the bucket to allow for easy storage of the Strucket. Alternatively, you could pour the water onto your garden.

10 Uses Of The Strucket

I originally got a Strucket so I could easily soak and drain my laundry, but quickly learnt there’s so much more that this ‘strainer meets bucket’ can do! Here are 10 ways the Strucket can help around your home (but I think there are countless more!).

1. SOAKING WHITE AND DIRTY CLOTHES

Laundry is perhaps the most obvious use of the Strucket, but more specifically it’s fabulous to use for your whites. I like to occasionally soak my white laundry to brighten it up and leave dirty and soiled clothes and reusable monthly underwear to soak overnight.  But I don’t like to submerge my hands in the dirty water. The Strucket means I no longer need to put my hands in the grubby water to pull out the clothes.

2. FRUIT AND VEG

I like to wash my produce, especially at the moment with all the talk of coronavirus (and with so many hands touching the fruit and veggies at the shops). I use my Strucket to clean all my fruit and veg, and pop in a little of this Natural Fruit and Vegetable Wash which helps remove any residual pesticides, oils, waxes and chemicals.

3. NAPPIES

Re-usable nappies have become really popular in recent years, but many parents are still unsure how to tackle the cleaning side of cloth nappies. Had the Strucket been around when my kids were young, I might have been brave enough to give them a whirl! The Strucket allows you to easily soak soiled nappies and then lift them out of the dirty water which can then be easily drained away, without you ever needing to submerge your hands in it.

4. TOILET TRAINING

All parents need to tackle toilet training at some point, and the unfortunate byproduct of teaching your child to use the toilet, is a whole bunch of soiled pants. Like cloth nappies, the Strucket makes easy work of this smelly mishaps.

5. KID’S TOYS

When my kids were younger I would routinely soak their toys before packing away and switching with another box of toys. This meant the packed away toys were always clean and sterilised. Whether it’s cleaning rubber bath toys with vinegar, sterilising lego in bleach, or even soaking the stuffed teddies in a laundry liquid, the Strucket removes the hard work and hassle.

6. COOKING EQUIPMENT

Excess grease and baked on tough stains can build up on baking trays and frying pans. A good soak with a little baking soda and vinegar is sometimes all it takes to remove this grease and clean your baking trays. The Strucket makes doing this an easy mess-free affair.

If dealing with baked-on kitchen grease is not your thing, take a leaf out of my book and switch over to non-stick silicone bakeware instead – I love it! Check out the full range of silicone bakeware here.

7. FISHING

I’m not a fisherman myself but have been told by a few friends that like to cast the odd rod, that the Strucket makes for a fabulous fishing accessory. It helps keep your bait fresh in the ice because it allows you to easily drain the water away as it melts, which prevents the bait from going mushy – or so I’m told. Apparently the Strucket makes cleaning your catch much easier too, although I’ll have to take the word of my fisherman friends on this one.

the best fishing bucket

8. PAINT BRUSHES & ACCESSORIES

Craft time with the kids can be a lot of fun, but cleanup can be a little less appealing. With the Strucket, paintbrushes, paint sponges, paint palates – basically anything paint related – can be popped in and easily soaked, separated, and then the murky water drained away.

9. GOLF BALLS

I didn’t realise until recently, just how expensive golf balls are – or how dirty they get! A few friends have husbands who like to golf, and who frequently return home with a bag full of dirty golf balls that need cleaning. The Strucket makes for a very quick and simple solution to this problem, because the golf balls can be left to soak and then easily removed by lifting the strainer out from the bucket.

10. DRINKS HOLDER

Forget carting a heavy esky around for just a few drinks. The Strucket allows you to place a few cold ones in ice so that they are easy to grab, plus the strainer and outer plug mean you can easily get rid of the excess water as the ice melts, which helps keep your drinks colder for even longer.

11. CAMPING

The Strucket can seamlessly take you from washing the dishes, to prepping the fruit and veg, storing the fish you caught, keeping your drinks cold, to cleaning your dirty clothes and golf balls. It seems a no-brainer then, that a product like this would be invaluable on any camping trip! It really is shaping up to be the only bucket anyone would ever need.

12. CLEAN MOP HEADS

I clean my mop heads in the Strucket by adding a few drops of lemon or lavender essential oil in the final rinse to give them a fresh scent.

Currently my laundry sinks plug slowly lets water drain so whenever I am soaking something I have to make a mad dash to the laundry to top the water back up. With a toilet training toddler and husband who works in construction that makes for a lot of running. The Strucket would allow me to soak in piece and save me from my near daily marathon back and forth!!

My partner & step son both work full time in industries where they come home in work clothes covered in grease. Hmmmm it’s a challenge & the clothes definitely need a good soaking. The water is black afterwards.

I would love this. My hands are not good in soapy solutions and this would help. Also easier to recycle water for the garden. Brilliant idea?

Wow first time I have seen this and it looks amazing! Strucket will really help and benefit in my household especially coming from a big family. Constant cleaning, mopping and washing those delicate & white clothes.

I would go from having to use 4/5 different buskers bown to one. It’ll safe me space and energy having the one multi purpose item which will be a dream for my small laundry and small sinks.

Brooke April 30, 2020 - 10:26 PM

The strucket would be amazing to soak work shirts and/or wash the fruit and veg! Great idea and design!!

Andrea May 1, 2020 - 12:05 PM

If I was to be fortunate enough to win, I’d pass it on to my beautiful bestie. She’s a first time new mum and after a very full on birth I think she would really appreciate this awesome pack, especially not having to lift soaking laundry. Thanks for the opportunity!

Kim Matthews May 1, 2020 - 2:58 PM

I’m so excited!!!!!!
I’d love a Strucket!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m a mum of 2 Adventurous teenagers. We bought our 1st place a year ago and it’s tiny but mighty like the strucket. Items onlystayed if they could be multipurposed. Our laundry is small & practical. It’s a busy room. Using a strucket would be exciting and I’d be able to make space by getting rid of my other buckets etc. ?????

Jan Lynch May 1, 2020 - 9:44 PM

A strucket would be so useful in my house for an endless array of tasks , however at the moment in particular it would be kept to wash fruit and vegetables when bought home from the supermarket. I don’t think it would be long though and it would be used for many other jobs

Carine Compton May 4, 2020 - 4:30 AM

Watching my 88 year old Grandma who is going through cancer treatment trying to rinse out her hand washing and not having the strength this would be perfect. She very independent so likes to try to do everything for her and my granddad herself. This would make life easier and would be perfect. It would also allow me to help her more too without taking her independence away. The Stucket is an amazing idea!

Amanda May 13, 2020 - 9:07 PM

This would make my life so much easier. We don’t have a laundry (washing machine in kitchen), have a mini sink in the bathroom and a single sink in the kitchen. So anything that gives me more space when it comes to water and cleaning is a god send. I could finally stop having to get on my knees over the bath tub to soak and clean my boys evil white school shirts and never ending Lego. Seriously why do schools think boys and white shirts are a good idea ? ?

Laura April 30, 2020 - 11:11 AM

I have 2 kids in cloth nappies, one of which will hopefully be toilet training soon. This would be so helpful with all the “stuff” 😉

Louisa April 30, 2020 - 7:09 PM

This would be life changing! I have 2 boys, who love to play in the sand, dirt, muddy puddles, paint and glue all day every day! The strucket would save me from having to touch that gross water ever again ?

Jodi May 1, 2020 - 10:28 AM

A strucket would mean I can soak my kids grubby white socks back to pure whiteness and still use the laundry sink to wash hands and wash my puppy’s dirty little princess paws when she’s been out in the garden digging for gold.

Elissa May 1, 2020 - 11:01 AM

We live where we are not allowed to put any chemicals down the sink. No napisan, no bleach, nothing antibacterial. So this pack is perfect for me.

Serene May 1, 2020 - 11:08 AM

The strucket is so versatile and I can already see all the uses I’ll have for it at home. I need one! I have an old back injury so not having to lift heavy tubs of water would be great!

Lauren May 1, 2020 - 12:04 PM

More more makeup stains on collars, face washers or towels!! #lifewithteenagegirls

Julie May 8, 2020 - 10:18 AM

This would be a life changer! We currently dont have a laundry tub (renovations that keep getting put on the back burner) so I’m forever using my kitchen sink to fill up buckeks for soaking my 2yo’s cloth nappies!

Elise Stanton April 30, 2020 - 12:07 PM

Please save my sanity and laundry sink from all the soaking required for living in a house full of boys. Bibs, baby clothes, whites! Help! Also for cleaning kids toys along with being our camping sink! The strucket would have soo many uses in our household. I also can’t wait to try the fruit and vege wash!

Being a Prep teacher, I would love to win the Strucket as it would be super handy when cleaning toys, Lego pieces and the myriad of other items in our classroom. Oh and my class is Prep AQUA. So the colour is PERECT!!

Vernita May 1, 2020 - 2:52 PM

My son wears white shirts for school and they forever come home needing to be soaked. I hate having drips across my floors!

Afton Ferguson May 1, 2020 - 3:04 PM

We plant a large garden and the Strucket would be perfect for the beautiful lettuces, kale, spinach and potatoes we grow. I can see this wonderful tool being used to wash and clean fresh fish, clean dishes when camping and washing students PE equipment at school! I might need an extra Strucket, one for the house and one for the ‘boys’ (Hubbie and son) in their shop aka man cave:) I think it would make a fine water balloon stash container as well!

Vicki Chance May 1, 2020 - 3:22 PM

With 3 sons (2 who work as tradies) and a husband, there are a myriad of ways that I could use a Strucket. From soaking filthy clothes to taking camping post “lockdown”. From soaking bakeware to dying fabrics. I could even use it to wash my fairy garden ornaments and pebbles. I would love a Strucket in my life ?

Ally May 1, 2020 - 11:07 AM

Toilet training accidents & sweaty white sheets would be the first things in this bucket. Would make draining those big, wet awkward sheets so much easier

I love this product it has a million uses & its design is so basic & innovative at the same time. I’m really loving the easy drain feature; living in a country that is prone to drought it’s important to make every last drop count!

Judith Whitehead May 13, 2020 - 1:45 PM

Would love this for soaking farm clothes, woek ovetalls. Also love to take to work for easy cleaning toys etc at kindy. A never ending list would appear.

Cobie Smith May 1, 2020 - 4:11 PM

I’m actually thinking this would be handy to wash my cats in, a bit unorthodox, sure, but I think it would be very effective. Failing that I’d also use it for soaking whites or clothes!

Reply
Jothsna May 11, 2020 - 1:56 PM

This would be so useful to me! I have a toddler so right now, this would be handy from mopping the floors (which I have to do regularly because my boy is learning how to walk and is teething), laundry (including soaking little onesies and socks etc.). Veggies and fruits always need a good wash and cleaning up wet sinks after washing veggies is one thing that takes up time and is hazardous with a little one milling around my legs. So having something like the Strucket to drain off excess water without the mess is a life saver. The little ones toys constantly need to have a good wash and sanitize and this thing would be useful with that too!
The uses seem endless and I would love one of these! Its sucha. Great way to minimise the workload!

Emma May 1, 2020 - 10:08 PM

The possibilities for use are endless but I’d love it as I hate getting my hands wet and dirty, hence my obsession with rubber gloves!

Strucket strucket, where have you been? You are by far the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. You separate, soak and drain with very little pain. You’re environmental friendly and Australian made, you would make the perfect aide. With 1 tradie and 2 puppies to take care of, you would be declared my new love. I scrub and I scrub, I soak and repeat but no one seems to rub my feet! You’d get a work out every day with the shirts and shorts I have to clean, But I promise I’d always leave you looking pristine.

I would love this for soaking and washing socks. With a family of 6. School, work, and sports socks are a plenty. I loath washing them and if there isn’t any clean sometimes I resort to buying new. They are always so filthy that I like to soak them first before putting them in the machine. With so many it’s a task to transfer them to the machine. Plus the water is disgusting and I don’t want to even put my hand in it with a glove on. :/

I have a partner who works on trucks, a teenager and a 1 and 2 year old, who are on and off in cloth nappies. This would make my life easier in so many ways, mostly in the laundry room. Dirty overalls, cloth nappies. Soaking kids clothes, the list is endless.

I love this idea. Would make my life so much easier as we have a small deep sink in the laundry which only fits a small bucket so soaking anything involves having is get into the dirty water to get the plug or go outside. This I could leave on the bench but drain into the sink.. its what I’ve been searching for 🙂

I live in a very small rental and am always looking for clever storage ideas. I love that the strucket has multiple uses. it would make my life easier by being able to wash fruit and veggies, or art supplies, doing the laundry and soaking cloth pads. The wonderful bonus is then you can drain the water outside directly onto the garden. The strucket would make all of these processes hassle free. Amazing.

It makes so much mess squeezing out the excess water out of the the clothes and carrying them to the washing machine. I’ve recently worked on making my laundry look nicer and more loved rather than a war zone and this would be the icing on the cake!

Although there are sooo many great uses and reasons for having a strucket, at the end of the day it for me it comes down to the very basic and practical issue of being able to empty water without having to lift anything. When you are 5 foot nothing and getting on in years the weight of buckets and tubs combined with the height of sinks is terribly prohibitive and painful. This looks like a godsend!

Being a mum of 9 children, 2 of which are aged 1 yr old and 7 weeks this would come in very handy. Milk on clothes, poo explosions on clothes, food on clothes, they all require soaking – get out the strucket.
We do alot of camping, collecting shells and rocks, catching fish – get out the strucket.
With 9 kids, their friends and 2 dogs the floors require mopping often – get out the strucket.
I would do that but I don’t have one. 🙁

The strucket will be really handy for soaking the white soaks that my son and daughter wear. They “forget” to take their socks off before venturing outside, leaving the socks so dirty that normal washing does not clean it. It needs a good soak before it can be washed and yes that water is so dirty that nobody really wants to put their hands in it. The strucket will be the perfect solution.

My husband takes my soaking bucket and uses it to wash his motor bike…as you can imagine when the bucket comes back…its a hot mess of muck and grease ?
As my darling sons school uniform is a white polo shirt that gets put through the paces of year 1….I need a system that will help me keep the white polos pristine and ready for action!
My hubby can then keep the hot mess bucket permanently.

OMG this would be a life and hand saver! I use my soaking bucket all the time for my son’s clothes and towels. Trying to get out food, spew stains and just trying to keep the whites actually white!
It kills my hands trying to wring out the clothes let alone all the water I slop everywhere transferring them from bucket to washing machine.
The strucket would help me so much to cut down the physical work. I live by the quote “work smarter, not harder” and think it is pretty fitting for these types of products

As a bond cleaner, the Strucket would save so much hassle when cleaning vertical blinds as they could be cleaned, rinsed and drained without having to transfer them from bucket to bucket. Maybe I’d stay dry in the process too! Drawer handles, plugs and all those other fiddly bits and pieces which need cleaning could be soaking, rinsing or drying while I continued washing walls and windows. What a time saver and mess saver this super practical piece of equipment would be. My mind is now filled with so many uses for it! 🙂

It would be fab for fruit and veg straight from the garden to the kitchen! I cant decide whether it would live in the laundry, bathroom, kitchen, car (for depositing our fruit and veg from shops straight in) or on the back deck. I suspect it would fast become an essential tool that makes it way all around (and outside the house). With a 10 month old bub (plenty of cloth soaking) and husband (who loves his drink ice buckets and cleaning home gym equipment), it would be a fight for who would get the most use out of in our family. Envisage it mulitplying

What an amazing giveaway! As a first time parent with a 7 week old this Strucket will help me in so many ways. It’s very hard with no help at the moment. From soaking dirty baby clothes to washing the fruit and veg. Anything to make my life easier! This would be amazing.

Wow this bucket really has endless possibilities! I think for me this would make my life easier when I get home from the markets with my trolley full of fresh fruit and veg, then the dreaded wash, dry and put away. I could just wash and drain all in the same bucket! Life saver!! Then the water can go straight into my herb garden, and my veggie scraps to the chooks so no waste. Gotta love that ?

I love this concept and see value in so many uses. I live in a small space and this would just make life easier and enable me to do more tasks more efficiently. The idea of not having to lift it to empty is also great as I have recently had back surgery and lifting heavy items is still difficult.

I already have a strucket but to have another would be beyond amazing. I use the strucket now to soak my kids white school shirts , I cannot express what a difference it has made. I no longer have to pour out dirty water getting my hands and everything else wet, the spout makes emptying the water out a breeze and I can transfer the shirts directly to the washing machine without the drips and spills. I would love another to use as a multipurpose bucket and strainer, this would make this fill time working mum’s life so much easier

I’m striving to be minimimalist and intentional to what things I should bring in to my small home. I would love to have this strucket because of its versatility. How good it is to have something that you can use to soak your laundry, fruits and vegetables and be used to hold a lot of things as well? I am excited to have this and find other “creative use” for it.

Having a Strucket would make my life so much easier at home by simply being that solution that’s missing in my life – Cleaning, soaking, rinsing, hand washing, the list goes on and on (don’t mention cleaning golf balls with it, my husband will steal it off me haha!) My favourite use would be soaking/hand washing as this is the laundry task that I like the least and I love doing laundry, I’m weird like that! This would honestly make my year 🙂

I was just looking at The Strucket this morning online, but I saw the price and unfortunately ‘add to cart’ was as far as I got. On a one income household, with 3 children (8, 3 & 4 months) I can’t justify buying it even though I think it would solve a lot of my problems in the laundry with baby clothes soaking and mr 3yr olds filthy clothes soaking and keeping toys sanitised. I would be delighted to win this and it would certainly be put to good use in this household! Now that I am working full time I have to stay extra organized for my family. What I have noticed while I have been working from home with Covid around. I have been arranging my house more as it has got away from me while I work but since I have re organized areas with purchasing items from the organized house wife I have noticed my family are really loving it and taking part on keeping it organized and asking me what’s next. This bucket would be amazing, it is on my wish list amongst a lot other things. Easier to clean my veggies, soak items of clothes cause I’m pretty fussy with that. To sit around d our fire pit with our drink on ice would be great. So much use would get used out if this. I would love to get one xx bless you

3 boys (8 and under) at home and a hubby (who is not domestically inclined) means that I will often soak dirty things in the laundry sink (ie soiled pants and undies) only to have one of them put in other clothes (once even a kitchen towel) into the sink without looking. With working full time and looking after the boys and family home it would be great to have something that just speeds up the housework process by preventing such mishaps from occurring. Often I soak things and forget about it because I need time to then go and do the whole rinse, drain etc, but this would just make it so much quicker and would free up the laundry sink.

Dear, oh dear, another night with my toddler messing his bed.
Winter is coming, dipping my hands in chilly foul water fills me with dread.

In these times of drought I try to reuse every drop again,
But my laundry sink keeps losing water down the drain!

Hubby’s socks are stained green from the footy field.
So much laundry soaker I must wield!

Another heavy load to lug, I want to say ‘Stuff it!’
I reckon life would be a tad easier with a Strucket.

I have two school age kids and a 6 month old that’s just started solids. I have white socks that need to be white again, bibs that need banana soaked out of them, and yellow school shirts that get grotty by the end of term. I don’t have a laundry tub so nothing gets soaked currently. I’d love to have a simple and portable option to do all this!

I find you would hit 2 birds with one stone with The Strucket. It’s such a sustainable approach to cleaning your fruit and veggies. Clean them and use the water to water your plants or your grass. If the water is soiled water I would use it to flush the toilet. I think it would also work brilliantly cleaning toys. A little dish-washing product and shake The Strucket. So much easier then having to toss and turn with your hands. Use the rest of the bubbly water to clean your car. Just love it!

I can’t thank childcare enough for the experiences the staff encourage my kids to have while I’m at work. There’s painting, mud and outdoor play, arts and crafts and boy to they give them plenty of messy food! I know its helping them to be creative and independent. But we are on tank water at home and seeing stained clothing sometimes brings me to tears. Last year our tank was empty for 8 months due to the drought. The Strucket would ensure that I can soak clothing clean while using minimal precious water. This is so important to our family, the kids development and letting them experience being grubby.

A Strucket would make my life at home a little easier by ridding my laundry of soaking buckets. It would be helpful for each of the five members of the family. My husband works in dirty environments and so his work clothes often need a good soaking to remove the grime before washing. My 6 year old’s school uniforms are light colours and the schoolyard & lunch spill stains show up easily and, his shirts in particular, always need a good soak before washing. My 3 year old has been a bit of a late toilet trainer & so accidents occur and those wet clothes need to be rinsed out ahead of waiting for the next load to go in for a wash. I have a six month old who has just started on solids and the orange pumpkin stains are the worst on his bibs and clothes. I’ve forever got something(s) soaking in a bucket in my laundry! Not to mention the LEGO and DUPLO that seem to attract the dirt, dust & fluff that the Strucket would aid in cleaning. I think it would also serve as a good place to dry the kids’ bath toys overnight too. Plus we are a big fruit & veg family and I won’t let anyone eat any of it until it’s been thoroughly washed. The Strucket would make this process quicker & easier. What a fantastic idea for a product!

How handy to not have to do this with a strucket!

At the same time, doing our little bit for the environment is important, so every morning you’ll find me doing the trips down the backyard to tip out nappy bucket rinse water on the garden, and more than once I’ve thought things like, “A Strucket would be so much better at draining” and “My hands wouldn’t smell like a longdrop dunny right now if I had a Strucket!”
Thanks for the opportunity to enter the competition!

With eczema on my hands, I struggle at the best of times to put my hands in solution to drain items. My skin has recently worsened with all the hand washing due to Covid-19, so the strucket would be a blessing in more ways than one.

Anything to make life in ISO easier at the moment would be an advantage! I’ve recently purchased the Fruit and Veg wash from your range and have found it fantastic when bringing home produce from the shops that every Tom, Dick and Harry have probably touched. Problem is that we only have a single kitchen sink. (what was I thinking with that renno!?) The Strucket bucket would make life easier where I can use it like you do for the fruit and veg and then leave the kitchen sink for all the cups, plates and cutlery that somehow cannot be put in the dishwasher, because it’s “too hard”…….

With a toilet training toddler it would mean being able to soak clothes without having to touch the gross water after, which would be a godsend, and I could use it (after a good scrubbing) to help clean the veggies from the veggie garden we have just started this year!

As a frontline worker, I soak my clothes when I get in the door before I hug the family. This would make it easier and less hands on for everything in there. Plus, I have my niece for half of the week for unfortunate circumstances so this would help with soaking her thousands of pants, nappies, bibs ?

When ‘Rona’ isn’t around we usually spend a lot of time travelling this amazing country of ours in our caravan. Space is of a premium and the strucket would do away with a lot of other bits and bobs and would help immensely with washing of the kids clothes that are usually full of red outback dust, along with all of their toys.

I’ve never seen one of these before, but with children, the possibilities of usage are endless. Soaking clothes would be a breeze – easier than having to hand wring the clothes, with what feels like endless bugs going through the house from childcare – cleaning toys will be much easier as well, especially when covered in vomit and you won’t want to be touching the water to get the toys out. Very awesome and exciting this strucket.

I like to wash all of our fruit and veg when we first buy it and it is quite time consuming as the kids seem to go through about a thousand apples. I often don’t do it in the most water wise manner (often keep the tap running), the strucket would mean I could chuck it all in give it a wash and carry on with the weekend!

Nothing nicer than the clean finished product and to see all the dirt in the bucket when you are done. The not nice bit is putting your hands into the dirty water, spilling the water whilst tipping it out or the wet clothes dripping from sink to washing machine. The Strucket would make me smile ear to ear and sing a happy tune whilst I soak away!!! ??????????

This would be so handy for cleaning his toys! I’m not talking corona-cleaning; this is our normal. I even wash grocery items where possible (milk bottles, canned items, etc) and of course, fruit and vegetables. All other grocery items get wiped down in the garage before entering our house. With the strucket I can wash my fruit and vegetables, allow them to drain easily and empty the water using the spout. So many uses for a strucket in our house. I have two small children so clothes are always need a good soak and having to not touch the gross water that soaking leaves in the tub would be so good especially in winter when it’s cold.
Cleaning veggies with this would also be amazing instead of me using a bowl like I normally would to soak and the drain with my hands (yuck). It’s very satisfying cleaning veggies knowing how much dirt and grime comes off the fruit and veggies but also a very daring and time consuming job as not all of the fruit and veggies would fit in the bowl but if I had a strucket they would all fit and it would save so much time.

I can’t count the amount of times I’ve left items soaking in a bucket in the laundry sink, only to forget about them. Meanwhile the kids continue to wash their hands over it in the laundry sink, leaving a some what slimey grimy bucket for me to drain and start all over again! I’d therefore love to win a strucket bucket. No more using my hands to drain the slimy contents out. I also love the idea of using it as a veggie wash and for camping too! What great ideas!

Having a strucket would make life so much easier for many reasons – Not having to touch what was soaking as my psoriasis means it physically hurts to touch the soaking liquid, a neat way of soaking period undies and all of the above. What a great invention 🙂

I would absolutely love a strucket! So many uses! My favourites of your listed uses are soaking laundry items, washing fruit, fishing for storing all out catches LOL, camping and love love love the idea of the drink holder. Easy way to get the drinks out of the water and then reuse the water onto plants. I’m sure the hubby and kids will find many magnificent uses for the strucket in the yard and the shed. Hmmm might have to hide it if I win it LOL! Thanks so much for offering this wonderful prize! Stay healthy and safe xx

Thinking if I won this I would have to take it to our school to wash the vegetables in the kitchen garden and the kids would learn more about reusing the water. A great sustainability teaching tool.

Our washing machine has broken and we can’t afford a new one yet so handwashing all the clothes, towels etc would be much easier with a strucket. It would be a welcomed addition to the household.

What an idea! So many uses on the daily!

Perfect for fruit washing as it can be quite the effort to sanitise the sink ready for fruit wash while trying to unpack all the regular groceries.

Toilet training twins means lots of wee undies soaking so not fishing them out of rank water would be a pleasant change!

OMG I don’t know where to start! A Strucket would be ideal in washing my sewing projects that need a gentle soak and then draining. Also for soaking the boy’s white (!!!) school shirts to get those stubborn stains out! The list just goes on and on and on……..

Looks like a pretty handy tool to everywhere around the house. Would allow to complete cleaning away from the laundry and kitchen sink, and allow our two girls to get involved in cleaning their toys, and preparing vegetables for meal times. Looks our wife and I could also use this on a nice summers evening chilling a bottle of wine watching to kids play in the backyard.

Having a Strucket would make my life easier because I am a carer for my elderly father, and often have to soak his clothes. It’s not so much the soaking that’s the issue, as dripping the dirty water all over the floor as I try to transfer the soaked items from the bucket to the washing machine. Being able to properly drain the water first would make things so much easier.

I currently have 4 buckets one the go to soak things in plus a laundry sink with the wrong size plug (discovered when I tried to soak some oven trays).

Since discovering your website I also have a list of jobs to clean and organise the house – the Strucket would help shave some time off this list and get though things a little more stress free and orderly

While reading the Organised Housewife,
I spied something to change my whole life..
It’s for soaking and washing,
and draining and squashing .
It has uses galore, and I’m sure I’ll find more….
It’s the Australian bucket called STRUCKET….

To tbe Organised housewife, with all the fruit and vegetables that the family and kids eat, I’d definitely love to use the Strucket with the Koala Eco cleaner. This will ensure all my produce is thoroughly soaked, cleaned and organised, ready for the family and kids to eat without any hassel of improper hygiene. Xx

Holy moly, the Strucket is a genius idea! I only have one of those itty bitty half-sized sinks in my apartment’s laundry closet at home so a Strucket strainer bucket would be an absolute life-changer when soaking stains out of baby & toddler clothes and cleaning my rags and mops! And the spout at the bottom! Would save me from the splashback that inevitably occurs emptying a standard bucket of dirty water into a very small and narrow sink! I need a Strucket in my life, STAT.

Strainer meets bucket, WOW! What an amazing product, I can already think of 110 uses for the strucket bucket. As a busy Mum, it would save time and money…and my hands!. The colours and design look amazing and it would be an awesome prize to win, I can’t wait to tell my friends and family about it! A must-have for any household!

I prefer to handwash delicate clothing, therefore the Strucket looks ideal to wash a few items individually, as can save the washing water and sqeeze out excess water one by one. then the same for rinsing. Would make this task so much easier!

How I’d use a Strucket: I would love it in the laundry, as we live with Red bauxite dirt, that stains everything! However, I may never get to use it in the laundry, as my kids would have it permanently! they constantly use buckets for their games, with animals, cars, rocks or cutlery! I am forever trying to dry little toys left in my shower, (we have no bath) or reclaim my kitchen containers from them. The Strucket would be a great solution.

I would love a strucket, I am toilet training a toddler and have a 7 month old so the amount of washing that needs soaking is endless… add to that I’m a nurse so keep all my uniforms separate from everyone else’s washing it would really come in handy.

With a baby learning to eat and a preschooler that seems to find all the dirt and loves art it makes for a lot of soaking. Our laundry tub’s plug doesn’t work great and our washing machine drains into the tub too. It means I have a giant laundry puzzle each week. When can I soak, when can I wash, have I refilled what has leaked from the tub?

I fell in love with these when I first saw them – images of being able to easily soak school t-shirts and keep white socks white sprang to my mind. The fact that I could also use these for so many other purposes the biggest issue was what colour – and I like the aqua the best 🙂

The strucket would have many jobs in my household, with 2 boys that play soccer and schooling there uniforms and socks get very dirty and always need to be soaked before they get washed. I also wash my fruit and vegies each week in a vinegar wash so would need a separate one for that.

I have a very small laundry and an active 2 year old. So with soiled clothes from toilet training and childcare, I have no room to soak clothes properly and end up using buckets on the floor. This sucket would allow me to soak and rinse clothes without taking up much space and no more water messes over the floor

The Strucket would make a massive difference to my washing/laundry routine and the various other uses would certainly be utilized too! My laundry is very small & I have a laundry tub that leaks water so soaking in there is a no-go & with a toddler that gets into everything, I can’t leave buckets with things soaking in them laying around in the general laundry area either. I dread having to plunge my hands into he murky soaking waters at the best of times, especially with dermatitis on my hands that has flared up with the current health pandemic. If I was to win this amazing prize, I would be over the moon.
