This Easter I will be spending some quality time with family, but I also plan to have some quality down time too. Pottering in the garden, board games with the kids and binge-watching some TV. There are some great new shows out which I have been enjoying lately. I was a huge fan of ER with George Clooney and John Stamos back in the day. I’ve really been missing some quality medical dramas until recently; The Resident and The Good Doctor are my new firm favourites!!
THE GOOD DOCTOR
season 1 available on Fetch and just finished airing on Channel Seven
Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, relocates from a quiet country life to join a prestigious hospital’s surgical unit. Alone in the world and unable to personally connect with those around him, Shaun uses his extraordinary medical gifts to save lives and challenge the skepticism of his colleagues.
THE RESIDENT

The Resident is a powerful new medical show focusing on a young doctor’s final years of training that rips back the curtain to reveal the truth of what really happens, both good and bad, in hospitals across the country.

Floki, suffering from the loss of his wife Helga and emotionally devastated, takes to the seas in a one man boat, submitting himself to the will of the gods.
DESIGNATED SURVIVOR
