BENEFITS OF MEAL PLANNING

Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.

MONDAY

Asian-Style Meatballs – Healthy and easy – what better combination is there for a mid-week family meal?

TUESDAY

Easy Honey Mustard Chicken – With only six ingredients, this one is a great midweek dinner choice.

WEDNESDAY

Homemade Fish Burgers – A super easy throw-together meal, where everyone can make their own. 

  • Pull out some frozen Fish Fillets from the freezer
  • Bake until golden and cooked through
  • Cut up some lettuce, salad sides and grab out sauces
  • Make your own burgers!

THURSDAY

Falafel and Middle Eastern Roast Veggies – Hearty spinach falafels are the stars of this Middle Eastern feast, with zingy pickled onions and roasted veggies.

FRIDAY

Chilli Con Carne Nachos – Mince is a great budget option when you’re trying to feed a family. Nachos are extra delicious with this delicious chilli con carne!

SATURDAY

Cheesy Ham and Chicken Parmigiana – Who doesn’t love a parmy? Stay home and enjoy a pub-style dinner without the price tag.
