This is a deliciously soft choc chip biscuit that everybody will enjoy.
Do not over bake as these cookies are delicious soft. I find they taste better using butter rather than margarine. You could easily substitute the milk choc chips with smarties or m&m’s as a fun alternative, or even more delicious some white chocolate and macadamia.

These are my ultimate favourtie cookie recipe
Ingredients
- 125g butter, room temp, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups Self Raising Flour, sifted
- 200g dark or milk choc bits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C, fan forced.
- Line 2 baking trays with baking paper or a silicone mat.
- Cream butter, brown and caster sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla, mix
- Add flour, mix
- Add choc bits. Have a little taste of the mix it is delicious!!
- Roll a heaped tablespoon, place onto baking trays, allow room for cookies to spread. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10 minutes or slightly golden.
- Rest on pan for 5 minutes, turn onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
DO NOT OVER BAKE as these cookies are delicious soft.
Do not substitute butter for margarine as they won’t taste as yummy.
Try white chocolate and macadamia as a substitute for milk choc chips.
