Slow cooker Chicken and Bacon Casserole

Recipe type: Slow Cooker Main Meal
Serves: 5

Ingredients
  • 4 chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 slices of bacon, diced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom condensed soup
  • ¼ cup white wine

Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into slow cooker
  2. Add more vegetables if desired (carrots, potato, peas, beans etc)
  3. Cook for 8 hours on low

    Is there anything that I could use as a substitute for the mushroom soup? cream of  chicken maybe?

      Yes, I think cream of chicken would work, it would change the flavour a little, perhaps if you add some herbs to enhance it.
