I love this silverside, fuss free, very simple to put together and tastes so good with some mashed potato, vegetables and mustard sauce!

Its like you read my mind… I was just looking for a slow cooker recipe for silverside / corned beef as I got a slow cooker for my birthday last week!!

Can I put the beef in for longer than 6-8 hours or will it ruin the meat?

PS LOVE YOUR SITE :) xxReplyCancel

    • No, I usually put mine on around 9am and eat 6.30pm and it’s perfect.ReplyCancel

make sure you use brown sugar and brown vinegar. Also adding golden syrup (instead of or along with the brown sugar) and half an orange works beautifully.ReplyCancel
