These chocolate scones are extremely yummy and perfect as is, no extra spread required.
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- ¼ cup cocoa
- ¼ cup caster sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup thick cream
- 1 cup lemonade
- 1 tbs milk
- Preheat the oven to 220°C. Lightly grease a baking tray
- Sift into a bowl flour and cocoa.
- Add sugar, salt and choc chips in a large bowl
- Add the cream and lemonade, mix to combine
- Place large spoonfuls of dough closely together onto baking tray
- Brush the tops with the milk
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned
