{GIVEAWAY} Tupperware Modular Mates Home Start set

I am so excited to be giving away a Tupperware Modular Mates Homes Start Set to one lucky reader.  This kit will help you to start organising your pantry, or if you already have modular mates it will extend your collection!

As I showed you yesterday ‘A guide to sizes of Tupperware Modular Mate containers for the pantry‘ you can see that I am a huge Tupperware fan.  Why?  The quality is brilliant, made of strong plastic, BPA free and with the ability to keep my food fresher for longer and if a container or seal does break (for an unknown reason, not if I accidentally dropped it on the floor) they will replace it as all products have a lifetime guarantee.

Yes it is expensive, but as I mentioned above it does keep food fresh longer and I believe for this reason it’s worth the extra expense as over several weeks you would have easily saved your money as you won’t be wasting as much food.  I also haven’t purchased a new lunchbox for my kids since they were in kindy, the oldest 2 are now in year 4, so that’s 7 years.  The lunch boxes. we have the sandwich keeper plus, have broken over this time, however my tupperware demonstrator (she is brilliant, if you are on the Gold Coast I can get you in touch with her) pops over, picks them up, gets them replaced and drops them back a week later.

The Home Start Set was the first set that I added to my pantry, the mini rectangles are my favourite size modular mates as they fit a packet of salada, crispbread, rice cakes or cream biscuits.  Not too big, not too small.

This set includes:

2 x Mini Rectangle 1 – L18.7cm x W14cm x H6.2cm, 3 1/3 cups
1 x Mini Rectangle 2 – L18.7cm x W14cm x H11.7cm,  7½ cups
2 x Oval 2 – L18.5 cm x W9.5cm x H11.7cm, 4½ cups
2 x Square 2 – L18.8cm x W18.8cm x H11.7cm, 10 ½ cups

They are dishwasher safe (however I prefer to wash mine by hand) and are covered with the lifetime guarantee.

Remember if you order a Home Start Set during September you will receive a large MM Spice Set FREE!

Would love to win this comp…. Another thing to say about Tupperware, if you have a housefire and they can take extreme heat, I had a housefire in wagga 3 years ago(a month after convincing my partner that is was worth buying Tupperware), after buying a cupboard full of the modular mates, about half survived, some had soot damage but the inside didn’t smell smoky and wasn’t mis shapen, the other half the fire was too close too and it was destroyed.
I have no modular mates these days because in the split with my ex I got my 2 kids, their toys, clothes and beds and my personal belongings. Since the split I have bought a few bits and pieces where I can, plus some I had as presents since. Unfortunately, buying furniture is what I have to do before I think about tupperware seriously.

I can’t figure out how to PIN a tupperware product. i’m new to pintrest and can’t see a ‘pin it’ button on the tupperware pages

    • Kylie W

Fiona, I had to play around with installing the pin it button on hub’s PC in Favourites Bar, so then the pin it button is there on a toolbar while you’re looking at the Tupperware catalogue, then you should be able to click on the pin it button on the toolbar and choose which picture from the catalogue you want to pin

  • http://www.facebook.com/krmayne Kylie Mayne

I have absolutely no tupperware, so this would be a great way to start a collection. Fingers crossed!

  • Terry Hansen

Love Tupperware and how they stack so nicely to see everything! I’d love to win some tupperware – I’m doing the 20 day organising challenge and organizing all day long! Thanks for the opportunity and the inspiration to get things cleaned up!

  • Alexis

What a great giveaway! I’ve found your blog through friends for the ’20 day challenge’ and am enjoying the inspiration to get my place a bit cleaner and tidier! Thanks!

  • Ai Lin

    Hi there,

Since reading your blog, I am so inspired to get Tupperware for myself. I am starting with the modular mates series, and I have placed order with a friend from overseas (1/3 of the price after conversion rate!!) and can’t wait for it to arrive at my door step. However, I am still not happy the way my pantry is at the moment, so I have decided to sort it out tomorrow! Wish me luck, and I am sure I will be chucking stuffs away. I have just cleared out the storage cabinet – oh boy! amount of unwanted and unused stuffs are just sitting there. I didn’t manage to take a before picture, but I will try to remember for the pantry tomorrow. Wish me luck. Your blog is brilliant!

  • Name

    i do enjoy some tuppaware

  • Moi

    Hi Katrina,

I have been a fan of yours for a long time!! I have heaps of Tupperware and I use it all the time but I have never been able to find the perfect container to store rice cakes (round ones)!! Is there a particular Tupperware item that you use or you know others use to store rice cakes??? my kids love them but they keep going stale :-(

    • http://www.theorganisedhousewife.com.au Katrina

I use the mini rectangle 2 to store the rice cakes. You used to be able to get the mini’s in packs, you maybe able to ask your demonstrator if you can buy them individually. If you need a demonstrator, contact me and I’ll put you onto a great one who would be happy to help.
