I use the base of our old cot to set up my daughters train track and then we can just slide it in and out from under her bed when she needs it. So easy to just slide away, and cheap because we already had it!

We have turned our son’s king single trundle into a Lego pod. We realised that we tend to use the blow up mattress when guests come instead so we removed the normal mattress. They can pull it out, sit in it and play. That way it slides back under the bed and the room is tidy. The little pieces aren’t getting lost all over the place and it’s bigger than our dining table so the kids have lots of space to build and also keep their creations on.
