{Inspiration} Gift Wrapping Station

I have shown you where i store our gift wrapping.  It’s convenient to have it all stored together, making wrapping presents less time-consuming.  Today I thought I would share with you some more Gift Wrapping Station ideas, now yes some of these maybe extreme, but the reason I post my ‘Inspirational Saturday’ is to help inspire you to create an area that will suit you and your needs.  Take a bit from each and make something you will enjoy.

I have a limited amount of wrapping paper, which is stored in a suit-bag in the wardrobe. I haven’t bought wrapping paper in a couple of years, but I still have a little left. Mostly I use fabric gift bags, or just fabric squares to wrap gifts. Re-usable and looks nice! I also like gift bags because they are so quick for wrapping.

I am struggling to decide how to store our gift wrapping supplies, including a couple of huge rolls of wrapping paper (bought in bulk a few years back – 30m or something crazy), gift bags I’ve saved (including lots of bottle-sized ones for gifting wines etc), folded wrapping paper, boxes of Christmas cards etc. etc. The large rolls of paper are my biggest concern – too large to fit into the desk drawers which hold all my other craft supplies. Once I declutter our walk-in robe I’m going to see what kind of space I have to store them and invest in a basket or bucket big enough to hold everything.

Hopefully something in the post has inspired you :) I usually store the large rolls in a corner of our wardrobe, they are christmas paper. I buy flat birthday sheets.

I love these ideas, but space is our problem. 3 kids in a 2×1 with one tiny linen cupboard. The plastic bag organisers look good. My mum wraps our presents in tea towels. She stopped doing it once & there was back lash.
