What Is Project Life?

This is a guest post by Alyce from Blossom Heart Quilts A couple of weeks ago, Katrina shared my Project Life organisation on her Facebook page. It sparked many questions about what actually is Project Life and how to do it, so Katrina asked me to share a bit more about Project Life and what […]

Love the Project Life Album just went to purchase over $100 worth of stuff and then it said “Sorry we dont ship to Australia” – very disspointingReplyCancel

    • AlyceB

Yes, that is the biggest pain about the Project Life organisation! Spotlight sells a lot of the basic stuff, as do other Australian scrapbook stores, especially online.ReplyCancel

Teanna I buy from Crafthouse. It’s based in New Zealand and used to be the only way we could get PL :) I just ordered a few days ago. Spotlight and some other shops now sell in Australia I believe. Check out Crafthouse :) ReplyCancel

WRMK also sell albums and similar photo inserts and are readily available in Aus. The albums are very good quality too with many colour options.ReplyCancel

Oh boy, when we move back to Australia, I can’t wait to get supplies so much more easily!!ReplyCancel

Project Life Update

I am super excited to be doing the Becky Higgins ‘Project Life’ again in 2012.  I had so much fun taking photo’s through 2011 and need to find some spare moment to put them all into my album (yes I am a little behind).  I have also purchased a few Project Life items which were delivered earlier […]

This project life stuff looks sensational…. Im a bit blown away by spending $150 straight up for a core kit…. but Im hoping that it will be worth it.
Now to just actually buy it and print off my photos – all stored in random digital folders :( ReplyCancel

I love this idea and your blog too! I came here looking for Thermomix recipes when a friend shared your pink lemonade recipe on Facebook. I also like to scrap easily (and cheaply) using crush books. I especially love the Close To My Heart Bluebird range which are available on my website: http://sarahcooper.ctmh.com.au/retail/Products.aspx?CatalogID=2110ReplyCancel

I have a Project Life kit too, but decided to do a month to two pages. Now that Christmas is over it's time to bring it out again and see how far we got last year. LOL

Looking forward to you sharing and inspiring me! ReplyCancel

WOW looks great. I am such a total bozo! I bought my own stuff to try and make a cheaper kit after missing out on winning a Project Life kit selling on EBAY. Derr they are not all that expensive at all (when you consider buying all the bits and pieces individually that is) Anyway Project Life is on back order everywhere I have looked….so this year I will use my dodgy (expensive) self made kit and next year Ill be first to order the real deal from Becky.

Anyway I loooove how you have decided to do yours. I also looooooooove anything from Kikki K. Fantastic…….

Today we are tackling the kids playroom….so far we have been in there for hours and not made a dent. LOL Its too hard with kids and hubby. Least I know what I will be working on whilst everyone is sleeping. THanks for being a constant inspiration. xxx ReplyCancel

It seems very popular. Kikki K is wonderful isn't it, can loose many hours in that store. ReplyCancel

    • i love kikki-k too. i have the family calender up this year.

have you been to typo at pac fair? it's got some lovely stuff too. ReplyCancel

      • Katrina

No I haven't had a look at Typo yet I saw the store last time I was there, but was on my way back to the carpark to pick kids up from school, hopefullly next time I'll have time to check it out. I rarely visit Pac Fair anymore as I love Robina so much. ReplyCancel

  • thanks for the photo planner. while the real project life is a little out of reach for me, i am improvising and following the same 'rules' with my own style album. it's a great way to keep on top of photo organisation, one of my goals for 2011. am hoping it will tell a beautiful story of our lives for many years to come, just with my own twist!

oh, and a handy hint for the canneloni. i put my filling into a glad bag with a large corner snipped out. then i simply pipe the filling into each tube. makes no mess and takes a fraction of the time compared to the old school 'stuff it in with your hands or spoon' technique. :) ReplyCancel

thanks for the tip Bianca, anything to make things easier is helpful!! ReplyCancel

WOW…I love love love this idea, I have so many photos sitting in boxes to scrapbook, but I can jsut never find the time. I think this has become something I need to get for my photos, thanks for sharing xx ReplyCancel

    • Katrina

I'm loving it Stacey, I'm sure you will too, perfect for those photo's sitting in boxes for sure. ReplyCancel

  • I am loving the look of the PL kit. I am going to see if I can get back on track with my scrapbooking this year, then may get a kit for next year – I am years behind, so this will be a challenge for sure :)

I too am hoping for some sunshine before school goes back. 2 weeks left of holidays and this next week looks to be nothing but rain and storms. ReplyCancel

  • Thanks so much for the photo planner! It's sheer genius!! I'm impatiently awaiting the arrival of my kit…..fingers crossed it arrives soon. Can't wait to see more of your PL 2011! ReplyCancel

    • Katrina

I didn't realise there are so many people still waiting on their kits, I hope yours arrives soon. ReplyCancel

  • Just wanted to say thanks so much for the free prinatable for Project Life. What a fantastic idea. And this may just get me to actually complete the whole year – unlike last year when I got up to May and 2009 when I got up to August. Thanks again.

Is it hard to stick to Libby?? I am hoping to dedicate time each week to it, as I would love to complete the full year. Did you get around to finishing your 2009/2010 albums? ReplyCancel
